About Me
Farmacy Revolution was unknowingly cultivated decades ago on a farm and cattle ranch in Arkansas.
What happened on that land sowed the seeds in a little girl’s heart that today have grown into Farmacy Revolution.
Seeds of simplicity. Seeds of peace. Seeds of faith.
Jennifer Lister spent her summers as a child on her great-grandparents’ Arkansas farm and cattle ranch – and for a girl accustomed to a typical suburban Louisiana home life, those three-months spent with loving extended family in the country made a lifelong impression.
That young girl grew up into a woman who moved to Houston, married a man, had three kids and then Hurricane Harvey hit in 2017.
The family decided to ride out the storm in their charmingly ramshackle 1800s farmhouse in the beautiful hill county of Austin County.
But Harvey turned out to be a devastating Category 4 hurricane. Jennifer’s Houston home was underwater for two weeks- everything they had was a figurative, literal, and total wash.
Jennifer and her family never got to go home to Houston again.
Instead, they pivoted, and began building a new life in their little southeast Texas farmhouse. Jennifer started homeschooling the kids and trying to figure out how she could contribute to the family finances. With a love for all things natural and a creative spirit, Jennifer began making soaps, raising free-range chickens and baking.
Today, Jennifer and her family are living a pastoral life reminiscent of the treasured time she spent with her great-grandparents. The family has acquired 22 chickens, 13 dogs, 8 cats, 2 heifers, and a rescue pig.
Farmacy Revolution continues to grow and evolve into the life a little girl once knew and loved on a farm and ranch in Arkansas.
